In South Carolina, you can jump start your career in real estate by simply searching for a real estate school online. To obtain your real estate license, you will have to take the 60 hour Pre-Licensing course, also known as First Year Sales. You must schedule a South Carolina real estate license exam with the PSI testing center. This will qualify you to gain a Provisional license. To gain a permanent one you must complete the 30 hour Post Licensing course, known as Final Sales.
2. You Get To Determine How Much You Earn
Let’s say you take up a job as an executive just starting out in a medium sized corporation. You’re earning a meager salary, most of which is spent on your growing expenses that don’t seem to be going down any time soon. Rent, utility expenses, transport and ration are just a few costs. At this point, there is little you can do to control your income. That’s not the case with real estate agents.
